I have been in Vancouver for 6 months, during this period I studied English and worked. When I was at school I had an amazing experience, the teachers were great and I really improved my English. I made friends from many different countries.
My experience living with a hostfamily was also wonderful. They helped me a lot, and made me feel at home.
Marina, the Brazilian counselor also helped me a lot giving me some good advice or making me feel better when I was homesick.
The school helped me find a job, and it was really good! I worked at Purdy’s, which is a Canadian chocolate retailer. I had a great experience working as a salesperson there. In a few weeks I will go back to Brazil, but I will never forget my time in Vancouver. Thanks everyone for helping me make my dream come true!!!

I was at SEC for 5 weeks. It was a special time for me, with a lot of extraordinary experiences! Starting with my arrival at my homestay until the first day at SEC everything was well organized. I had always the feeling to be in good hands. Also, the tour to Seattle was very well organized. My homestay family was very lovely and caring. During my time here I always had a contact person and my counselor Marina was very helpful. Also, the possibility to change the course and book additional grammar lessons was very helpful to me. I really enjoyed the way my teacher Katherine taught grammar. I felt like I was making progress. If I could, I wouldn’t change anything about my stay in Vancouver! Thank you!

Coming to Canada and study in SEC was the thing I will never regret it. I really liked to stay here and met new people. Everybody here is very happy and friendly. I made friends from Brazil, Russia, Japan, Korea and Mexico.
Be here was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I just came here for five weeks and I think it was nothing. All the teachers are very nice and patients with the students. If you come to SEC you will have a nice experience about studying, making friends and Canada.
Mu counsellor was Nadia and she was very nice, she always helped us with everything. SEC Thank you for everything!
